Financial Writer (New York City Office)
Description:
ICON Capital Corp. is currently seeking a Financial Writer. Responsibilities require writing about complex products structures and investments topics in a clear, concise manner that can be interpreted by every-day retail investors. Writing assignments range from corporate profiles, PowerPoint presentations, conference call scripts, white papers, press releases, and generating web content.
Requirements:
Candidate must have a minimum of three 3 years professional experience as a financial writer in the retail and/or institutional investment markets. Strong writing skills, excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, superior organization skills, time management skills and attention to detail are essential. Experience with MS Word, Excel and Power Point presentations is necessary.
Marketing/Sales Associate (New York City Office)
Description:
ICON Capital Corp. is currently seeking a marketing/sales professional to source, research, and call on potential customers with the objective of evaluating and qualifying transactions between $5MM to $25MM. This will include cultivating and maintaining strong relationships to facilitate transactions. Primary functions include: financial modeling and analyzing financial statements, prospecting via telephone, database management and participating in the development and production of related marketing materials. This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Qualifications:
A college degree, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to think independently. Critical thinking ability and time management skills are vital aspects for success in this position. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related PC programs is required. Finance related experience and/or equipment leasing experience is a plus.
